re you a Late Bloomer – or would you like to be one?

Dictionary.com defines a late bloomer as any person whose talents or capabilities are slow to develop.

..but for our purposes a Late Bloomer is a woman over 40 (whether single, married or divorced), quite possibly a mother (but not necessarily) who has toiled away in the shadows for years supporting others (whether bosses, husbands, children or a combination thereof) and has made a conscious decision to CHANGE HER LIFE FOR THE BETTER.

Now, there's nothing wrong with supporting others! But sometimes - just sometimes - that willingness to support gets mistaken for a life-long calling!

Some would say that it's too late - your best years are behind you; life has passed you by.

But - deep inside, in your heart of hearts - you're screaming "NO!!! I'm not done!
I HAVE DREAMS!"

Of course, we ALL have fantasies and dreams - some reachable (getting a degree), some not so much (getting George Clooney). George might not be possible but there are a LOT of dreams that are still reachable.

That is, if (and there's ALWAYS an "if".) you're willing to step out of your comfort zone and take a risk. No one is going to throw it in your lap. There may be a lot of work involved.and you may even get a bit obsessed.

Some of your friends may not understand but the true ones will be there cheering for you or may even be running alongside pursuing their own dreams.

As we get older, it slowly begins to dawn on us that there is no dress rehearsal. This is IT. This is your - and my - LIFE.

We ALL have a limited time here on earth. The question we face is - Are we going to just sit idly by and WAIT FOR THE END??

Or are we going to consciously LIVE our lives?
Yes, it's about goals..but it's about more than that.

t's all about the JOURNEY
